Past Projects

The Brick Center Substation was constructed for Intermountain Rural Electric Association (IREA) and is located in Bennett, Colorado. This 230/115kV substation is fed from a 230kV Xcel transmission line and supplies a 115kV transmissdion line for IREA use.

Work on this substation included the following: installation of one (1) 200 MVA transformer, oil containment, control building, 230kV and 115kV Mitsubishi breakers and one (1) 115kV circuit switcher.
